CHAMPION FOR CONNECTICUT FAMILIES AND CHILDREN

Jayme Stevenson is an experienced leader. For more than ten years she served as Darien’s First Selectman as well as on regional and statewide governmental organizations, where where she advocated for residents and businesses throughout Connecticut. Working collaboratively with bipartisan peers, Jayme helped set policy standards and sought funding approvals for transportation infrastructure and regional services while prioritizing local municipal decision making.

Jayme is moving forward to bring her private sector and municipal experience to Congress because Connecticut needs a representative who is unafraid to do what is right for the residents of Connecticut, rather than what is easy and along party lines.

Meet Jayme Stevenson

Restoring Common Sense Leadership in Washington

Jayme Stevenson was born to parents Carol Ann and John Calvin Jackson Jr. in Reading, Pennsylvania. Jayme’s mother was the daughter of Italian immigrants. Her father, uncles, and Jayme’s brother, served in the United States military. Jayme’s uncle, a Flight Officer, was killed in action during the 1943 WWII Battle for Sicily.

Her family’s background is part of why she has become a passionate and dedicated public servant. She’s been working to make a positive impact for the people of Connecticut since first elected as Darien’s First Selectman. With over a decade of experience, Stevenson ties into all corners of the community because it’s what drives her – helping others thrive! 

She will bring balance to Washington while fighting for Connecticut.
